(شر) حبلٌ من نسيج ضامّ قويّ قابل للانثناء، يربط أطراف العضلة بالعظم ونحوه.

(هس) ضلع المثلث المقابل للزاوية القائمة.

(هس) خطّ مستقيم يصل بين نقطتين على خطًّ مُنْحنٍ

a straight line connecting two points on a curved line (chord).

وتر مَأْبِضيّ

(شر) أحد وترين يحدّدان الحفرة المأبضيَّة خلف الرُّكبة.

🇬🇧 Translation:

one of two tendons defining the popliteal fossa behind the knee (hamstring tendon).

أوتار البدن

(شر) رباطات بين أعضائه.

🇬🇧 Translation:

ligaments between body organs.

أوتار صوتيَّة

(لغ) ثنايا عضليّة غشائيّة في الحنجرة تخرج منها نبرات الصوت.

🇬🇧 Translation:

muscular membranous folds in the larynx from which voice pitches emerge (vocal cords).

" وَارْتَبِطُوا الْخَيْلَ وَامْسَحُوا بِنَوَاصِيهَا وَأَكْفَالِهَا وَقَلِّدُوهَا وَلَا تُقَلِّدُوهَا الأَوْتَارَ [حديث] "

"Tether the horses, wipe their forelocks and croup, collar them and do not collar them with bowstrings [Hadith]"
