عُزَّى

صَنَمٌ كان لكنانة وقريش، أو هي شجرة من السَّمُر كانت لبني غطفان بَنَوا عليها بيتًا وجعلوا يعبدونها، فبعث إليها رسولُ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خالدَ بن الوليد فهدمَ البيتَ وأحرق السَّمُرة

🇬🇧 Translation:

An idol belonging to Kinanah and Quraysh, or a Samur tree belonging to Banu Ghatafan upon which they built a house and worshipped it. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, sent Khalid bin Al-Walid to it, so he demolished the house and burned the tree.
