زَيْدِيَّة

(سف) إحدى فرق الشِّيعة الموجودة في العالم الإسلاميّ حتى اليوم، تقول بإمامة زيد بن عليّ بن الحسين، وتحصر الإمامة في أولاد عليّ من فاطمة، انتشرت في اليمن وماتزال سائدة فيها.

(Philosophy) One of the Shiite sects present in the Islamic world to this day, it believes in the Imamate of Zayd ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn, and restricts the Imamate to the descendants of Ali from Fatimah, it spread in Yemen and is still prevalent there (Zaidiyyah).
