ج أَرَضات وأَرَض : (حن) حشرة بيضاء مُصفرَّة تشبه النملة، تظهر في الربيع وتعيش في مستعمرات كبيرة، وتأكل الخشب والحبوب ونحوهما
🇬🇧 Translation:
pl. أَرَضات, أَرَض : (Zool) A yellowish-white insect resembling an ant, appearing in spring and living in large colonies, eating wood, grains, and the like (termite).
أرَضَ يَأرُض، أَرْضًا، فهو آرِض، والمفعول مَأْروض (ard) أَرْض (ard-2) أَرْضيّ (ardy) أَرَضِيَّات (ardyat) أَرْضيَّة (ardyh-2)
