مف بِطِّيخة : (نت {نبات عُشْبيّ حوليّ مُتمدِّد من الفصيلة القَرْعيّة، ثمرته كبيرة كرويَّة أو مستطيلة، وقشرته خضراء أو صفراء، حُلْو المذاق، له أسماء متعدِّدة تختلف من بلد إلى آخر ويدعى} البطِّيخ {بمصر وجنوبيّ الشام، و} الجَبَس) في شماليّ الشام، و (الرَّقيّ) في العراق.

It has various names depending on the country, called 'Baṭṭīkh' in Egypt and southern Levant, 'Jabas' in northern Levant, and 'Raqqī' in Iraq.
