تألّم وضجر، شقّ عليه الأمرُ ولم يطق احتمالَه

تألَّم وتضجَّر منه، لم يقدر عليه، عجز عنه

Suffered and was annoyed by it, could not do it, was incapable of it (To be distressed by/unable to).

تألَّم وضجر منه، لم يقدر عليه.

Suffered and was annoyed by it, could not do it (To be distressed by/incapable of).

أحسّ بضيق أو عجز وخوف، استنفد كُلَّ وسائله

🇬🇧 Translation:

Felt confined or helpless and afraid, exhausted all his means (To be in dire straits/feel trapped).
