جج أذِبَّة وذِبَّان، مف ذُبابة : (حن) حشرات طائرة صغيرة تألف الأقذارَ، وتنقل الأمراضَ، موجودة في كلِّ مكان داخل المساكن وخارجها، مُضرِّة بالصحَّة العامّة
🇬🇧 Translation:
Plural: adzibbah and dzibban, singular: dzubabah. (Zoology) Small flying insects that frequent filth, transmit diseases, found everywhere inside and outside dwellings, harmful to public health.

- (حن) ذباب يعيش على جثث الحيوانات تنمو يرقاتُه على الموادّ الحيوانيّة

(حن) بعوضة تنقل نوعًا من الحُمَّى المتقطِّعة

الذُّباب المضيء
(حن) نوع من الخنافس تطير ليلاً وتُصدر ومضات من الضَّوء الأخضر المصفرّ من أعلى بطنها، وهذه التَّقلبات الضَّوئيَّة هي لغة التَّخاطب والتَّلاقي والتَّزاوج بينها في الظَّلام.
🇬🇧 Translation:
(Zoology) A type of beetle that flies at night and emits flashes of yellowish-green light from the top of its abdomen, and these light fluctuations are the language of communication, meeting, and mating among them in the dark.
