ج أَدْهار وأَدْهُر ودُهور :

Plural: adhar, adhur, and duhur :

زمن الحياة الدُّنيا كلّها، مُدَّة بقاء الدُّنيا إلى انقضائها

🇬🇧 Translation:

The entire time of worldly life, the duration of the world's existence until its end (time/epoch).

أفناه وأهلكه
أكل عليه الدَّهر وشرِب : طال عمرُه وتأثّر بمرور الزَّمن عليه، بلي من القدم
بناتُ الدَّهر/ صروف الدَّهر : شدائده
تصاريف الدَّهْر : تقلُّباته، نوائبه ومصائبه
تقلُّبات الدَّهْر : الحوادث السَّعيدة أو المؤسفة التي تتتابع في الحياة
تمخَّض الدَّهْرُ بالفتنة : أتى بها وأظهرها
حِدْثان الدَّهْر/ أحداث الدَّهْر/ حوادث الدَّهْر/ أحوال الدَّهْر : نوائبُه ومصائبُه ودواهيه
عصَف به الدَّهرُ : أهلكه ودَمَّره، أباده
عضَّه الدَّهْرُ بنابه : أصابه بشرّه
قرَعتهم قوارعُ الدَّهْر : أصابتهم نوازلُه الشَّديدة
لا آتيك أَبَدَ الدَّهر : لا آتيك أبدا.

Annihilated and destroyed it
Time ate and drank on him : He lived long and was affected by the passage of time, worn out by age
The daughters of time / The vicissitudes of time : Its hardships
The shifts of time : Its fluctuations, calamities and misfortunes
The fluctuations of time : Happy or unfortunate events that follow one another in life
Time gave birth to discord : Brought it and revealed it
The events of time / The happenings of time : Its calamities, misfortunes, and disasters
Time stormed him : Destroyed and annihilated him
Time bit him with its fang : Afflicted him with its evil
The striking calamities of time struck them : Its severe afflictions hit them
I will not come to you for the eternity of time : I will never come to you.

مدَّة محدَّدة من الزمن.

A specific period of time (era).

نازلة، مصيبة

🇬🇧 Translation:

Calamity, misfortune.

🇬🇧 Translation:

" Time is like time and days are the same ... and people are like people and the world belongs to the victor
Do not curse time, for indeed Allah is (the controller of) time [Hadith]. "
