(سق) دَرابُكَّة؛ آلةُ إيقاعٍ ونقر، وهي فخُّاريَّة مُجَوَّفة ضيِّقة الفم، يُشَدُّ على أَسْفَلِها قطعة من جِلْدٍٍ، يُضْربُ عليها بالكَفَّين والإصبع، تُشْبه الطَّبلة.

(Music) Darabukkah; a percussion instrument, a hollow piece of pottery with a narrow mouth, the bottom of which is tightly covered with a piece of skin, played by striking with the palms and fingers, similar to a drum (Darbuka / Goblet drum).
