فدَّى يفدِّي، فَدِّ، تفديةً، فهو مفَدٍّ، والمفعول مُفدَّى

فدَاه، خلّصه ممّا كان فيه بماله أو بنفسه

العزيز الذي يفتديه أبناء الوطن بأرواحهم.

The cherished one for whom the citizens sacrifice their lives.

قال له : جُعلتُ فِداك.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Said to him: "May I be your ransom."
