ج حاجات وحاجٌ وحوائِجُ :
🇬🇧 Translation:
Pl: ḥājāt, ḥāj, and ḥawā'ij:
حائجة؛ ما يفتقر إليه الإنسانُ ويطلبه
🇬🇧 Translation:
What a human being lacks and requests
  • حقّق له ما يريد
  • قضَى حاجَته : ذهب إلى الخلاء
  • لا حاجةَ به إلى كذا : لا يفتقر إليه
  • لا حاجةَ لي به : لستُ مفتقرًا إليه
  • هو في حاجة إلى : يفتقر أو في حالة افتقار أو يتطلّب.
🇬🇧 Translation:
  • Fulfilled what he wanted
  • Qadla ḥājah: went to the bathroom
  • Lā ḥājata bihi ilā kadzā: has no need for such a thing
  • Lā ḥājata lī bihi: I have no need for it
  • Huwa fī ḥājatin ilā: he is in need of or requires.
خاطر يخطر بالقلب

A thought passing through the heart
شَيء ضروريّ لابد منه ولا يمكن الاستغناء عنه
🇬🇧 Translation:
An essential and indispensable thing
  • في حالة الضرورة
  • لا حاجة إلى ذلك/ لا حاجة لذلك : لا ضرورة أو ليس من الضروريّ.
🇬🇧 Translation:
  • In case of necessity
  • Lā ḥājata ilā dzālik / Lā ḥājata lidzālik: there is no need for that.
حسد وغيظ
🇬🇧 Translation:
Envy and resentment
أحوجَ يُحوج، إحواجًا، فهو مُحوِج، والمفعول مُحوَج (ahwj) احتاجَ/ احتاجَ إلى يحتاج، احْتَجْ، احتياجًا، فهو مُحتاج، والمفعول مُحتاج (ahtaj) تحوَّجَ/ تحوَّجَ إلى يتحوَّج، تحوُّجًا، فهو مُتحوِّج، والمفعول مُتحوَّج إليه (thwj) احتياج (ahtyaj) حائِجة (hajh) حاجِيات (hajyat) مُحتاج (mhtaj)

  • صاحب الحاجة أرعن [مثل]
  • {وَلِتَبْلُغُوا عَلَيْهَا حَاجَةً فِي صُدُورِكُمْ} "
