شحَذه وسنَّه

وضع فاصلاً بينها وبين ما يجاورها.

To set a boundary between it and adjacent lands.

جعل لها حُدودًا

🇬🇧 Translation:

To provide it with boundaries.

أقام عليه الحدَّ

🇬🇧 Translation:

To inflict the legal punishment (hadd) upon him.

حدَّق وركَّز بصرَه إليه، نظر إليه نظرة انتباه.

🇬🇧 Translation:

To stare and focus one's gaze upon it, to look at it attentively.

ميَّزه منه.

🇬🇧 Translation:

To distinguish it from another.

كفّه، صرفه عنه

🇬🇧 Translation:

To restrain him, to deter him from the matter.

ضيَّق مجالَه ووضعه ضمن حدود

🇬🇧 Translation:

To restrict its scope and place it within limits.

• ذات صلاحيّات أو امتيازات مرسومة
• لا محدود : ما لا يمكن أن ترسم له حدود
• محدود التَّفكير : ضيِّقُ الأفق، سطحيّ
• محدود المدى : ضيِّق
• مَوْرِد محدود : قليل نسبيًّا.

• Having outlined powers or privileges
• Unlimited: that which cannot be bounded
• Limited in thinking: narrow-minded, superficial
• Limited in range: narrow
• Limited resource: relatively small.
