حَم

ج أَحْماء : أبو زوج المرأة ومن كان من قِبَله من الرِّجال كأخيه وعمّه، ويشيع استعماله الآن في أبي أحد الزوجين، وهو يعرب بالحركات إلاّ إذا أضيف فيعرب بالحروف (بالواو رفعا وبالألف نصبا وبالياء جرًّا)
🇬🇧 Translation:
Plural: aḥmā': A woman's husband's father and his male relatives such as his brother and uncle. Nowadays, it is commonly used for either spouse's father. It is declined with short vowels except when in an annexation (iḍāfah), in which case it is declined with letters (wāw for nominative, alif for accusative, yā' for genitive).
