حسَدَ يَحسُد ويحسِد، حَسَدًا، فهو حاسد وحسود، والمفعول مَحْسود

كره نعمةَ الله عليه، وتمنَّى أن تزولَ عنه، أو أن يُسلبَها

🇬🇧 Translation:

to dislike God's blessing upon someone, and to wish for it to vanish from them, or to be stripped of it.

• اللَّهُمَّ زِد وبارك
• في موقف لا يُحسد عليه : في موقف سيِّئ
• في موقفٍ يُحسد عليه : في موقف مشرِّف يتمنَّاه كلُّ إنسان لنفسه
• ليس للحاسد إلاّ ما حسد : لا يحصل على شيء.

🇬🇧 Translation:

• May Allah increase and bless
• in an enviable position (ironic: in a bad situation) : in a bad situation
• in an enviable position : in an honorable position that every person desires for themselves
• the envious person gets nothing except what he envies : gets nothing.
