جَهول

ج جهولون وجُهُل وجُهَلاءُ : صيغة مبالغة من جهِلَ/ جهِلَ بـ :
🇬🇧 Translation:
An intensive exaggerative form of jahila / jahila bi (plural: jahulun, juhul, juhala'):
يُضْرب في غلبة الجهول للحليم؛ لأنّ الجاهل يُزيد عليه في المهاترة والحليم يربَأ بنفسه عن مغالبته في السَّفاهة
🇬🇧 Translation:
A proverb regarding the prevalence of the foolish over the forbearing; because the ignorant person exceeds limits in foolish bickering, whereas the forbearing person holds himself above competing in foolishness
