عجَّلَ يعجِّل، تعجيلاً، فهو مُعَجِّل، والمفعول مُعَجَّل

استعجله، أعجله، تعجَّله؛ حثَّه على الإسراع

نفَّذه قبل الوقت المحدَّد لتنفيذه

قدَّمه، دفعه مقَدَّمًا

to advance it, to pay it in advance

مقدَّم الصَّداق وهو ما يُدفع منه عند عقد الزَّواج، يقابله مؤخَّر الصَّداق.

prompt dower, which is the part of the dower paid at the time of the marriage contract, contrasted with deferred dower.
