مضى فيه بالثِّقة وقطع به قطعًا لا عودة فيه، حزم فيه.

to proceed with it with confidence, to decide it conclusively without turning back, to be resolute about it.

أمضاها قاطعة لا رجعة فيها

🇬🇧 Translation:

to fulfill it definitively and irrevocably

لا تقبل الجدل والاعتراض.

🇬🇧 Translation:

accepting no debate or objection.

(نح) سكَّن آخرَه إن كان صحيحًا أو حذف آخرَه إن كان من الأفعال المعتلّة الآخر أو من الأفعال الخمسة

(Grammar) To give a jazm (sukun) to the final letter of a present verb if it is sound, or to drop its final letter if it is weak-ended or one of the five verbs.
