كبَا يَكبُو، اكبُ، كَبْوًا وكُبُوًّا وكَبْوَةً، فهو كابٍ، والمفعول مَكْبُوٌّ

غفا وهو قاعد غفوات قصيرة متوالية يستيقظ منها ثمَّ يعود إليها

To nod off while sitting, experiencing short successive naps from which he wakes up and then returns to them.

سقَط على وجهه، عَثَر، فقَد توازنَه في سيره، زلّ

🇬🇧 Translation:

To fall on his face, stumble, lose balance while walking, slip.

• لم يُصب
• كبا النورُ : نقص
• كبا جوادُه : أخفق، فشل
• كبا لونُ الصبح : أظلم.

🇬🇧 Translation:

• To miss/fail
• كبا النورُ: to dim
• كبا جوادُه: his horse failed/lost
• كبا لونُ الصبح: to darken.

صَبّ ما فيه، أفرغه، نثَره.

🇬🇧 Translation:

To pour out what was in it, empty it, scatter it.
