(Anatomy) One of the digestive organs located on the right side of the abdomen below the diaphragm, one of its primary functions being the secretion of bile which digests fats (can be treated as masculine or feminine).

أعزّ ما لدينا
تضرب إليه أكباد الإبل : يُرْحَل إليه في طلب العلم وغيره، دلالة على أهميّته وعلو شأنه في العلم والفضل
سود الأكباد : حاقدون، لا يعرفون التسامح
غليظ الكبد : جافٍ، شرس، قاسٍ
فلذة الكبد : الولد، الابن والابنة
يفتِّت الأكبادّ : مُحزِن جدًّا.

Camels' livers are directed towards it: People travel to it in pursuit of knowledge and other things, indicating its importance and high status in knowledge and virtue
Black livers: Vindictive, knowing no tolerance
Thick-livered: Cold, harsh, cruel
Piece of one's liver (fildzat al-kabd): A child, son or daughter
Tearing livers apart: Extremely sad.

الْتِهاب الكبد الوبائيّ
