خفَّفَ/ خفَّفَ عن/ خفَّفَ من يُخفِّف، تخفيفًا، فهو مخفِّف، والمفعول مخفَّف

قلَّل منه، جعله خفيفًا

محلول خُلط به سائل آخر لتقليل كثافته.

🇬🇧 Translation:

a solution mixed with another liquid to reduce its concentration.

عالجه حتى شفاه الله من مرضه.

🇬🇧 Translation:

treated him until Allah healed him from his illness.

جعله رقيقًا.

🇬🇧 Translation:

made it thin.

هَوّنَه عليه وبسَّطه، أزال عنه مشقَّة، روَّح عنه

🇬🇧 Translation:

made it easier for him, relieved him of hardship, comforted him

خَفِّف عنك/ خَفِّف من حُزنك : هَوِّن عليك.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Take it easy / Ease your grief: console yourself.

سكَّنه، ضدّ شدَّده.

🇬🇧 Translation:

gave it a sukun (voweless), opposite of shaddad (doubled/geminated).
