- مُدمَّر لا حياة فيه بعد هلاك ساكنيه، خرِب مهجور
- خاوي الوِفاض : صِفر اليدين، عديم المال.
🇬🇧 Translation:
- Destroyed, lifeless after the perishing of its inhabitants, ruined and abandoned
- Empty-handed: having nothing, penniless.

- خاوي الرأس من الأفكار
- خَوَت الحاملُ : ولدت فخلا جوفها من الحمل
- {فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةً بِمَا ظَلَمُوا} "
