لمَسَ يَلمُس ويَلمِس، لَمْسًا، فهو لامِس، والمفعول مَلْموس

يذهب به.

🇬🇧 Translation:

carries it away.

لمَس تغييرًا في سلوكه

أحسّ به

🇬🇧 Translation:

felt it, perceived it

لمس الحقيقةَ : اهتدى إلى الصَّواب.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Lamasa al-haqiqah: guided to the truth.

لمَس المرأةَ

جامعها

🇬🇧 Translation:

had sexual intercourse with her

" ممنوع الاقتراب أو اللّمس
{وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا} : طلبنا الوصولَ إليها لاستراق السمع
{وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا فِي قِرْطَاسٍ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هَذَا إلَاّ سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ} "

"No approaching or touching
{And that we had sought [to reach] the heaven and found it filled with stern guards and burning flames}
{And if We had sent down to you a written text on parchment and they had touched it with their hands, the disbelievers would surely have said, 'This is not but clear magic'}"
