مُقدَّم الرَّأس
🇬🇧 Translation:
The front part of the head (forelock).
- أهانَه وحطّ من قدره
- امتلك ناصيةَ البلاغة : أعطته البلاغةُ قيادَها، ملكته عنانها
- امتلك ناصيهََ الأمر : أخذ السُّلطَةَ
- عقَد ناصيتَه : غضب وتهيأ للشرّ
- فلانٌ ناصيةُ قومه : شريفهم وكبيرهم.

- To humiliate and degrade him
- Mastered the art of eloquence: eloquence surrendered to its control
- Mastered the reins of the matter: took power
- Wrinkled his brow: became angry and prepared for evil
- So-and-so is the 'nashiyah' of his people: their noble and chief.
شعرُ مُقدَّم الرّأسِ إذا طال
🇬🇧 Translation:
The hair at the front of the head when it grows long.
رأسُ الشَّارع عند مُلتقاه بآخر، ملتقى شارعين
🇬🇧 Translation:
The corner of a street where it meets another, the intersection of two streets.
