نخَلَ يَنخُل، نَخْلاً، فهو ناخِل، والمفعول مَنْخول

غرْبَله، وصفّاه، واختار لبابَه

• بالغ في تفحُّصها، وتمحيصها
• مَنْ غربل النَّاسَ نَخَلوه [مثل] : يُضرب في الكفّ عن التحدث بأمر الناس
• نخَل السّحابُ المطرَ/ نخَل السّحابُ الثلجَ : صَبَّه
• نخَل الودَّ لفلان : أخلصه له
• نخَل قضيّة : أمعن فيها بحثًا، وتدقيقًا، محصها، وتفحّصها بتروٍّ وإمعان نظر
• نخَل له النصيحةَ : أخلصها له.

• To scrutinize and thoroughly examine
• Whoever filters people will be filtered by them [Proverb]: Used regarding refraining from gossiping about others
• The cloud poured down rain/snow
• To devote pure affection to someone
• To examine a matter deeply, meticulously, and thoughtfully
• To offer sincere advice to someone.
