- قَيْد شَعْرَة : قدر شعرة، مسافة ضئيلة.

- Very close, accessible, easy
- قَيْد الأسنان : the gums
- قيد النظر : subject to study and review
- قَيْد شَعْرَة : by a hair's breadth, a tiny distance.
