ربَأ القومَ/ ربَأ للقوم

صار لهم ربيئة، أي يكون أمامهم بمسافة يرى لهم الطريق، ويرقب لهم العدوّ.

Became a scout/lookout for them, meaning he was ahead of them at a distance to see the road for them and watch out for the enemy.

رَبأ بصحَّته

حرَص عليها وحفِظها
