صلِفَ يَصلَف، صَلَفًا، فهو صَلِف

ادَّعى ما فوق قَدْره عُجْبًا وتكبُّرًا

ثقلت روحُه، أُبغِضَ، لم يحظَ بالرِّضا عند النَّاس

قلَّ نماؤه وبركته.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Its growth and blessing decreased (To lack blessing/decrease).
