سُنْبُلة

ج سُنْبُلات وسنابِلُ وسُنْبُل : جزء في النَّبات يتكوّن فيه الحَبّ

🇬🇧 Translation:

Plural: sunbulat, sanabil, sunbul : The part of the plant where the grain is formed (Ear/Spike/Panicle).

شَعَاع السُّنبُل

سَفاه؛ شوكه إذا يبس.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Its awns; its spikes when it dries up (Awn/Beard of ear).

" سُنْبُلة قمح/ شعير
{كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنْبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنْبُلَةٍ مِائَةُ حَبَّةٍ}
{فَمَا حَصَدْتُمْ فَذَرُوهُ فِي سُنْبُلِهِ إلَاّ قَلِيلاً مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ} "

" sunbulatu qamhin/ sha'irin
{kamathali habbatin anbatat sab'a sanabila fi kulli sunbulatin mi'atu habbatin}
{fama hasadtum fadharuhu fi sunbulihi illa qalilan mimma ta'kuluna} (An ear of wheat / barley
{The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains}
{So what you harvest leave in its spikes, except a little from which you will eat}) "
