• زال نعاسه، سهِر وقلِق
• طارت نفسه شَعاعًا : اضطربت، تبددت من كثرة الهموم والخوف
• طار صوابه أو عقله : جُنّ، غضب غضبًا شديدًا
• طار صِيتهُ : انتشر، ذاع
• طار طائرُه : غضب غضبًا شديدًا
• طار فرحًا : فرِح كثيرًا، تهلَّل
• طار قلبي مطارَه : مال إلى جهةٍ يهواها.

• His sleepiness vanished, he stayed awake and anxious
• "His soul flew into pieces": his mind was troubled/scattered due to excessive worries and fear
• "He lost his mind/reason": he became mad or extremely angry
• "His fame flew": his reputation spread widely
• "His bird flew": he became extremely angry
• "He flew with joy": he was overjoyed, beamed with joy
• "My heart flew to its destination": my heart inclined towards what it loves.

خفَّ وأسرع إليه

To hasten and rush to him.

طار إلى كذا : أسرع إليه.
