(نح) من الجهات السِّتّ وتكون من النَّاحية السُّفلى، مقابل فوق، وهي ظرف مكان يُنصب إذا أضيف ولم تسبقه مِنْ أو إذا قُطع عن الإضافة لفظًا ومعنًى، ويكثر جره بمن، ويُبنى على الضم إذا قُطع عن الإضافة لفظًا لا معنًى
🇬🇧 Translation:
(Grammar & Morphology) One of the six directions, referring to the lower side, opposite of above (فوق). It is a spatial adverb (ظرف مكان) that takes an accusative ending (mansub) if it is in an annexation construction (idhafah) and not preceded by 'min', or if it is disconnected from idhafah both in pronunciation and meaning. It is frequently put in the genitive case (majror) with 'min', and takes a dammah if disconnected from idhafah in pronunciation but not in meaning.
