مف يقطينة : (نت) كلّ شجر لا يقوم على ساق، كالبطِّيخ والقثّاء، وغلب إطلاقه على القَرْع، ويطلق الاسم أيضًا على ثمار ذلك الشّجر، وهي ثمار كبيرة لبيّة دائريّة ذات قشرة سميكة

Sg. يقطينة; (Botany) Any plant that does not stand on an upright stalk, such as watermelons and cucumbers, predominantly used for pumpkins. The term is also applied to the fruit of such plants, which are large, pulpy, round fruits with a thick rind
