مف يقطينة : (نت) كلّ شجر لا يقوم على ساق، كالبطيخ والقِثّاء، وغلب إطلاقه على القَرْع، وتُطلق الكلمة أيضا على ثمار هذا الشّجر، وهي ثمار كبيرة لبيّة دائريّة ذات قشرة سميكة

Singular: yaqtinah: (Botany) Any trailing plant that does not stand on a woody stem, such as watermelons and cucumbers, though predominantly used for gourds/pumpkins. The word is also applied to the fruits of this plant, which are large, fleshy, round fruits with a thick rind.
