🇬🇧 Translation:
Pl. Bahair: A female camel or sheep with a slit ear. During the Jahiliyah period, Arabs would slit the ear of a female camel or sheep after giving birth five or ten times if the last offspring was male, exempting it from milking or riding, and denying it neither water nor pasture. Islam abolished this practice.
