حرَّمَ يحرِّم، تحريمًا، فهو مُحرِّم، والمفعول مُحرَّم

حرَّم الشَّيءَ

جعله حَرامًا، ضدّ حلَّله

جعله ممنوعًا

🇬🇧 Translation:

made it forbidden, the opposite of making it lawful.

حرَّم البلدَةَ

جعل لها حَرَمًا آمنًا

🇬🇧 Translation:

made it prohibited.

" حرَّم اللهُ القمارَ
رَوَى عَنِ اللهِ تبارك وتعالى أَنَّهُ قَالَ : يَا عِبَادِي إِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الظُّلْمَ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَجَعَلْتُهُ بَيْنَكُمْ مُحَرَّمًا فَلَا تَظَالَمُوا [حديث]
{وَأَحَلَّ اللهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا} "

" God forbade gambling
It is narrated from God, Blessed and Exalted is He, that He said: 'O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden among you, so do not oppress one another' [Hadith]
{And God has permitted trade and has forbidden interest} [Al-Baqarah: 275] "
