حرَّقَ يحرِّق، تحريقًا، فهو مُحرِّق، والمفعول مُحرَّق

أشعل فيه النَّارَ وبالغ في ذلك

أثّر فيّ، أوجعني عتابُه.

🇬🇧 Translation:

It affected me; his reproof caused me pain.

برده بالمِبْرد

🇬🇧 Translation:

He filed it with a file

حرَقته، أثَّرت فيه أثرَها المعهود وأتلفته

🇬🇧 Translation:

It burned it, exerted its usual effect upon it, and destroyed it

عطَّشها.

🇬🇧 Translation:

It made it thirsty.
