خَمْسَة

اسم عدد أصليّ فوق الأربعة ودون السّتة، يخالف المعدود في التذكير والتأنيث إفرادًا وتركيبًا وعطفًا

Name of a cardinal number above four and below six, opposite to the counted noun (ma'dud) in gender, whether single, compounded, or conjoined (five)

الأسماء الخمسة

(نح) خمسة أسماء وهي : أبو، أخو، حمو، فو، ذو، ترفع بالواو وتنصب بالألف وتُجرّ بالياء.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Grammar) The Five Nouns (al-Asma' al-Khamsah): five nouns which are: abu, akhu, hamu, fu, dhu, marked in the nominative with waw, accusative with alif, and genitive with ya'.

الأفعال الخمسة

(نح) كل فعل مضارع اتّصلت به ألف الاثنين أو واو الجماعة أو ياء المخاطبة وتُرفع بثبوت النُّون، وتُنصَب وتُجزَم بحذف النُّون.

(Grammar) The Five Verbs (al-Af'al al-Khamsah): any present tense verb connected to the dual alif, plural waw, or feminine second-person ya', marked in the nominative by retaining the nun, and in the accusative and jussive by deleting the nun.

خَمْسة عَشَر

عدد مركَّب من خمسة وعشر، يلي أربعة عَشَر ويسبق سِتّة عَشَر، مبنيّ على فتح الجزأين.

A compound number of five and ten (fifteen), following fourteen and preceding sixteen, uninflected with a fatha on both parts.
