(نت) نبات من الفصيلة البخوريّة، يفرز مادّة صمغيّة تُمْضَغ كالعِلْكِ لا تذوب في الفم ولا تُبلَع تُسمّى اللُّبان، ومنه نوع مُرّ يستخدم لطرد البلغم.

(Botany) A plant of the Burseraceae family that secretes a resinous substance chewed like gum, which does not dissolve in the mouth or get swallowed, called frankincense (luban). A bitter variety of it is used to expel phlegm.
