Proverbial for two equals in virtue or other qualities.

" هو أخوه بلِبان أُمِّه : أخوه الذي رَضَع من ثدي أمِّه، والمراد توكيد معنى الأخوّة الحميمة، ولا يقال بلبن أمّه، وإنّما اللَّبن الذي يُشرب من ناقة أو شاة أو غيرها من البهائم
غَذَتْه أمُّه بلِبانها "

" He is his brother through his mother's milk (breastfeeding): his brother who suckled from his mother's breast, intended to emphasize deep brotherhood. It is not said 'labn' of his mother, as 'labn' is what is drunk from a camel, sheep, or other animals
His mother nourished him with her milk. "
