To become difficult and severe.
قبُح وكرهته النَّفس وصار مُنْكرًا.
🇬🇧 Translation:
To be ugly, abhorred by the soul, and become reprehensible.

- نكُر العبء المُلْقى على كاهله
- {فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ إِلَى شَيْءٍ نُكُرٍ} "

- "The days grew severe
- The hardship of the work
- The heavy burden placed upon his shoulders
- So turn away from them, (O Muhammad), on the Day the Caller will call to something repulsive (nukur)"
