(قن) إبطال الحكم إذا كان قد صدر مبنيّا على خطأ في تطبيق القانون أو تأويله، أو كان هناك خطأ جوهريّ في إجراءات الفصل أو بطلان في الحكم. والنَّقض قد يصيب الحكم المدنيّ والحكم الجنائيّ على السَّواء متى كان أحدهما قد صدر نهائيًّا من المحاكم الابتدائيّة.

حقُّ النَّقض

(سة) الفيتو؛ حقّ خُصّت به الدّول الخمس ذات المقعد الدَّائم في مجلس الأمن التَّابع لهيئة الأمم المتحدة في نقض قرارات المجلس وإبطالها.

السلطة المكتسبة أو الحقّ المُعطَى لفرع أو دائرة حكوميَّة لرفض الموافقة على إجراءات مُقترَحة من دائرة أخرى وخاصَّة السُّلطة الممنوحة للمدير التَّنفيذي لرفض مشروع قانون تقدِّمه الهيئة التَّشريعيّة وبذلك يُرفض أو يتمّ تأخيرُ تنفيذه ليصبح قانونًا.
