• عاداه
• نصَب له العَداءَ والشّرَّ : أظهره له وقصده به
• نصَب له حربًا : شنَّها عليه، وضعها
• نصَب له فخًّا : دبَّر له مؤامرة، أوقعه في مكروه
• ينصب له الحبائلَ : يكيد له في الخفاء وقلب له الأمور.

• Opposed him
• (ناصب له العَداءَ والشّرَّ): Displayed hostility and evil toward him and intended it for him
• (ناصب له حربًا): Waged war against him, initiated it
• (نصب له فخًّا): Planned a conspiracy against him, trapped him in misfortune
• (ينصب له الحبائلَ): Schemed against him secretly and manipulated matters.

ثبَّتها، غرسها في الأرض

🇬🇧 Translation:

Fixed it, planted it in the ground

أتعبه، أعياه، أوجعه

🇬🇧 Translation:

Fatigued him, exhausted him, caused him pain

سوّاهما ورفعهما بشكلٍ عموديّ

🇬🇧 Translation:

Straightened and raised them vertically

ولاّه مَنْصِبًا? نصَب نفسَه لمساعدة اليتامى : تقدّم لذلك متطوِّعًا.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Appointed him to a position. (نصَب نفسَه لمساعدة اليتامى): Volunteered himself to help orphans.

(نح) ألحق بها علامةَ الفتح أو نطقها منصوبةً.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Grammar) Giving it the mark of Fathah or pronouncing it in the accusative state (mansoub).

خدعه واحتال عليه، وابتزَّه بطرقٍ ملتوية.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Deceived him, defrauded him, and extorted him through crooked ways.
