رَحْمَن

اسم من أسماء الله الحسنى، ومعناه : ذو الرَّحمة التي لا غايةَ بعدها في الرّحمة، الذي وسعت رحمتُه كلَّ شيء، الذي يُزيح العلل ويُزيل الكروب، العطوفُ على عباده بالإيجاد أوّلاً، وبالهداية إلى الإيمان وأسباب السّعادة ثانيًا، وبالإسعاد في الآخرة ثالثًا، المنعِمُ بما لا يُتصوَّر صدورُ جنسه من العباد

🇬🇧 Translation:

One of the beautiful names of Allah, and its meaning: The Possessor of mercy beyond which there is no limit, whose mercy encompasses everything, who removes illnesses and dispels sorrows, the Compassionate towards His servants by creating them first, by guiding them to faith and the causes of happiness second, and by granting them happiness in the Hereafter third, the Bestower of blessings the likes of which cannot be imagined to come from creatures (The Entirely Merciful).

اسم سورة من سور القرآن الكريم، وهي السُّورة رقم 55 في ترتيب المصحف، مدنيَّة، عدد آياتها ثمانٍ وسبعون آية.

The name of a Surah (chapter) in the Holy Qur'an, which is the 55th Surah in the order of the Mushaf, Medinan, its number of verses is seventy-eight verses (Surah Ar-Rahman).
