قصده وطلبه

Intended it and sought it (To seek/Strive for).

• لم ينجح في مسعاه، فاته ما طلب
• سعى إلى حتفه بظلفه : تصرّف تصرفًا ألحق الضّررَ به.

🇬🇧 Translation:

• Did not succeed in his endeavor, missed what he sought
• sa'a ila hatfihi bidhilfihi : acted in a way that caused him harm [To dig one's own grave/Seek one's own ruin] (To fail/Seek trouble).

ذهب ومشى إليه بسرعة

Went and walked to it quickly (To hasten to/Walk quickly to).

عمله وكسبه

🇬🇧 Translation:

Did it and earned it (To work/Strive).

• اجتهد وبذل أقصى جهده
• سعَى في الأرض فسادًا : حرّك الفتنةَ ونشر الفسادَ
• سعى في الخير : أصلح.

🇬🇧 Translation:

• Was diligent and exerted his utmost effort
• sa'a fi al-ardi fasadan : stirred up sedition and spread corruption [To spread corruption in the land]
• sa'a fi al-khayri : made peace/did good (To exert effort/Strive).

زحفت

🇬🇧 Translation:

Crawled (To slither/Crawl).

تسبّب له في قضائها.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Caused it to be fulfilled for him (To handle/Help fulfill).

هرول، مشى وتردّد بينهما.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Jogged, walked and went back and forth between them (To perform Sa'i).
