نوم خفيف، أو عميق، راحة وسكون
🇬🇧 Translation:
Light or deep sleep, rest and stillness (Deep sleep/Lethargy).

- السُّبات الأبديّ : الموت
- سُبات الأرض : تركها حولاً أو أكثر بلا زرع
- سُبات العقل : خمول القوى الذهنيّة.
🇬🇧 Translation:
- Night and day
- eternal slumber: death
- dormancy of the land: leaving it for a year or more without planting
- lethargy of the mind: sluggishness of mental powers (Slumber/Dormancy).
(حي) حالة يكون فيها الكائن الحيّ تحت ظروف غير ملائمة، تسكن فيها حركته.
🇬🇧 Translation:
(Biology) A state in which the organism is under unfavorable conditions, in which its movement is still (Hibernation/Dormancy).
(طب) حالة يفقد فيها المريضُ وعيَه فقدانًا تامًّا، ولا يُفيق منها بأقوى المنبّهات، وهو خلاف الإغماء
🇬🇧 Translation:
(Medicine) A state in which the patient loses consciousness completely, and does not wake up from it with the strongest stimulants, and this is different from fainting (Coma).

- subatun 'amiq : nawmun ghayru tabi'iyyin la yash'uru fihi al-mar'u bima yajra hawlah
- {waja'alna nawmakum subata} : rahah (He woke up from his slumber
