ج سِدْرات وسِدَر : (نت) واحدة السِّدْر، وهي شجرة النَّبِق، وهي شجرة ثمرتها طيِّبة، ينتفع بورقها، ومنها نوع آخر لا ينتفع بورقه وثمرته عفصة.

Plural: sidrat and sidar : (Botany) A single sidr tree, which is the lote tree, and it is a tree whose fruit is good, its leaves are useful, and among them is another type whose leaves are not useful and its fruit is astringent (Lote tree/Sidr tree).
