كلّ أمر يخفى سببُه، ويُتخيّل على غير حقيقته، ويجري مجرى التمويه والخداع، إخراج الباطل في صورة الحقّ، استخدام القوى الخارقة بواسطة الأرواح، فنّ وممارسات الساحر

Anything whose cause is hidden, and is imagined to be other than its reality, and proceeds like camouflage and deception, bringing forth falsehood in the form of truth, the use of supernatural powers through spirits, the art and practices of the magician (Magic/Sorcery).

سحر يمارَس لأغراض شرِّيرة، وهو أقوى أنواع السِّحْر
انقلب السِّحْرُ على السَّاحر : يماثل المثل القائل : من حفر حفرة لأخيه وقع فيها.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Magic practiced for evil purposes, and it is the strongest type of magic
inqalaba as-sihru 'ala as-sahir : like the proverb: he who digs a pit for his brother will fall into it [The magic turned on the magician/Backfired] (Black magic/Backfire).

ما يأخذ الألباب بجماله أو لطفه، وهو مقيَّد في هذا المعنى بما يمدَح ويُحْمَد، جمال أخّاذ

🇬🇧 Translation:

What captivates hearts due to its beauty or gentleness, and in this sense it is restricted to what is praised and commended, captivating beauty (Charm/Enchantment).

تأثيرها يبدو سحريًّا
سحر المرأة : جمالها ومفاتنها.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Its effect seems magical
sihru al-mar'ati : her beauty and charms (Woman's charm).
