صلُحَ يَصلُح، صَلاحًا وصلاحةً وصَلاحِيَةً وصُلُوحًا، فهو صَليح

صلُح الشَّخصُ

فضُل وعفَّ، استقام وأدَّى واجباته

🇬🇧 Translation:

Became virtuous and chaste, was upright and performed his duties (To become righteous/virtuous).

صلُح الشَّيءُ ونحوه

صلَح، زال عنه الفساد.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Became good/proper, its corruption vanished.

" صلُح أخي بعد طول فساد
{رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدْتَهُمْ وَمَنْ صَلُحَ مِنْ ءَابَائِهِمْ} [ق] "

🇬🇧 Translation:

" saluha akhi ba'da tuli fasadin
{rabbana wa'adkhilhum jannati 'adnin allati wa'adtahum waman saluha min aba'ihim} (My brother became righteous after a long period of corruption
Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers). "
