(فز) الأثر السَّمعيّ الذي تحدثه تموُّجات ناشئة من اهتزاز جسم ما، ذبذبات تنتقل في وسط مرن أو سائل أو صلب أو غازيّ بترددات من 20 إلى 2000 هيرتز تقريبًا يمكن للأذن البشريّة سماعها

(فز) المسافة التي يقطعها الصّوت في وحدة زمنيّة، وتقدّر بـ 340 مترًا في الثانية.

(نح) كلّ لفظ حُكِي به صَوْت أو صُوِّت به لزجر أو دعاء أو تعجّب أو تحسُّر أو توجُّع.
