ج زِيغان : (حن) نوع أسود من الغربان يقال له : الغراب الزَّرعيّ، وغراب الزَّرع، وغراب الزيتون؛ لأنه يأكله، وهو صغير نحو الحمامة، برأسه غُبرة وميل إلى البياض، لا يأكل جيفة، يستوطن شرقيَّ أوربا وإيران، ويهاجر بعضه إلى فلسطين ومصر.

Plural: zighan : (Zoology) A type of black crow called: field crow, agricultural crow, and olive crow; because it eats them, it is small, about the size of a pigeon, its head is grayish and tends to be white, it does not eat carrion, it is endemic to Eastern Europe and Iran, and some migrate to Palestine and Egypt (Rook/Corvus frugilegus).
