ج حُبارَيات وحُبَارَى، مؤ حُبَارَى : (حن) طائر طويل العنق من الفصيلة الحباريّة من رتبة الكُركيّات، ومنه عدَّة أنواع، رماديّ اللَّون على شكل الإوَزَّة، في منقاره طول (وقد يستعمل لفظ المفرد للمذكّر والمؤنّث والجمع)

(Zoology) Bustard, a long-necked bird of the family Otididae, order Gruiformes. There are several species, gray in color resembling a goose, with a long beak (the singular form may be used for masculine, feminine, and plural).
